Welcome!
I am a PhD candidate at Cornell ILR School, researching comparative employment relations and political economy. My research explores the structural forces driving socio-economic inequalities, focusing on how worker power and labor organizations shape labor market outcomes at the national, industry, and workplace levels.
I use both quantitative and qualitative methods to examine traditional forms of labor activism (e.g., unions) alongside non-traditional approaches (e.g., coalition-led campaigns, grassroots unions), focusing on their roles in achieving meaningful and sustainable gains through collective bargaining and policy engagement.
Recent projects include an analysis of how IG Metall, German metal union, is addressing employment challenges during the transition to EVs, with broader implications for organized labor and policymaking in the US. Another study explores the relationship between worker voice gaps and well-being and job attitudes, drawing on nationally representative survey data from the US.
